Kristin Fisher joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. As a correspondent she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial companies in space and the rise of space tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. As she covered the two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and the two administrations' attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. Kristin traveled extensively, including both the president and vice-president. She was even on a top-secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Before joining the network in, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through local TV news markets in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin, who is a skilled filmmaker, founded Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentaries, for clients such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and she has a 3 year old daughter.
